Tartaglia (Childe) is a 5-star Hydro Bow DPS whose unique stance-change mechanic switches between ranged Bow attacks and fast melee Hydro blades. His Elemental Skill applies Riptide marks that chain AoE Hydro damage, making him one of the best AoE damage dealers in the game. He's the core of the legendary 'International' team — widely considered the strongest and most versatile team composition in Genshin history. While his cooldown management requires skill, a well-played Tartaglia clears content faster than almost any other carry.

👥 Tartaglia + Fischl + Beidou + Bennett/Flex
Electro-Charged AoE mayhem. Beidou's burst chains lightning between enemies. Fischl batteries Beidou. Extremely effective against grouped enemies.
👥 Tartaglia + Nahida + Raiden/Kuki + Flex
Tartaglia provides rapid Hydro application for bloom seeds. Raiden/Kuki triggers Hyperbloom from off-field. Surprisingly effective with low investment.

Tartaglia E (apply Hydro) → Bennett Q (ATK buff) → Kazuha E+Q (double swirl Hydro+Pyro) → Xiangling E+Q (snapshot buffs) → Tartaglia E + melee combo (7-9 seconds) → Ranged Q (if available) → Switch out before E cooldown gets too long
6. Common Mistakes
❌ Staying in melee stance too long — Tartaglia's E cooldown = time spent + 6s. Stay 7-9s max for clean rotations.
❌ Leveling Normal Attack talent — Tartaglia's melee attacks scale from his E talent, NOT his NA talent. NA only affects bow shots.
❌ Using Hydro DMG goblet with ATK% weapon — if using Rust, ATK% goblet can sometimes beat Hydro DMG due to oversaturation. Test with optimizer.
❌ Not pre-applying Hydro — cast E once before the full rotation to apply Hydro for Kazuha's double swirl setup.
