Kaedehara Kazuha is the premier Anemo support in Genshin Impact. He provides enemy grouping, 40% Elemental RES shred via 4pc Viridescent Venerer, and a team-wide Elemental DMG bonus that scales with his Elemental Mastery. Unlike Sucrose who shares EM, Kazuha directly buffs Elemental DMG — making him irreplaceable for mono-element and reaction teams alike. At C0 he's already top-tier; at C2 he becomes broken.
1. Best Weapons (Ranked)
| Rank | Weapon | Rarity | Base ATK | Sub-stat | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Freedom-Sworn | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 608 | EM 198 | Signature. Highest EM substat + team-wide ATK and NA/CA/Plunge DMG buff. Perfect synergy with his kit. |
| 2 | Xiphos' Moonlight | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 510 | EM 165 | Excellent. Converts EM to ER for Kazuha and the team. At R5 with 1000 EM, gives ~30% ER to everyone. Solves energy problems. |
| 3 | Iron Sting R5 | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 510 | EM 165 | Best F2P. Free forgeable. Same EM as Xiphos but no ER utility. Easy to craft and refine. |
| 4 | Favonius Sword | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 454 | ER 61.3% | Team battery option. Lower EM means weaker buff, but white particles fuel the entire team. Use if ER is a problem. |
2. Best Artifact Sets
4pc VV shreds enemy Elemental RES by 40% when Kazuha swirls. This is the single most powerful support artifact effect in the game. Kazuha's EM also converts to Elemental DMG bonus for the swirled element via his A4 passive. Triple EM main stats maximize both effects.
Main Stats Priority
| Slot | Main Stat | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sands | Elemental Mastery | Always EM. No exceptions for support Kazuha. |
| Goblet | Elemental Mastery | Always EM. Anemo DMG goblet is only for DPS Kazuha (not recommended). |
| Circlet | Elemental Mastery | Always EM. CRIT circlet is only for Favonius Sword builds that need to proc the passive. |
Sub-stat Priority
- 1. Elemental Mastery — every substat roll matters. Aim for 800-1000 total EM.
- 2. Energy Recharge — 160% minimum. Burst gives 8s of off-field swirls + A4 buff.
- 3. ATK% — minor personal damage boost. Low priority.
- 4. CRIT Rate — only for Favonius Sword builds to trigger the passive.
3. Best Team Compositions
👥 Childe + Xiangling + Kazuha + Bennett
The ceiling team. Kazuha double-swirls Hydro and Pyro, buffing both Childe and Xiangling. Bennett + Kazuha + Xiangling core is one of the strongest in the game. High skill ceiling but the damage is unmatched.
👥 Ayaka + Kokomi + Kazuha + Shenhe
Kazuha groups frozen enemies and buffs Cryo DMG for Ayaka. VV shred + A4 Cryo DMG bonus. His grouping is essential for keeping enemies inside Ayaka's burst.
👥 Yae Miko + Fischl + Kazuha + Nahida/Baizhu
Kazuha swirls Electro for VV shred + Electro DMG bonus. Nahida provides EM share for higher aggravate damage. Kazuha's grouping helps Yae's turrets hit clustered enemies.
4. Talent Priority
5. Rotation Guide
Childe E (apply Hydro) → Bennett Q → Kazuha Q E (double swirl Hydro + Pyro) → Xiangling Q E → Childe E NA spam → Repeat
6. Common Mistakes
❌ Not using triple EM main stats. ATK% or Anemo DMG on a support Kazuha is a massive damage loss for your team. His buff scales with EM — maximize it.
❌ Not swirling the right element. Kazuha's A4 buff applies to the element swirled. Make sure you swirl the element your DPS uses. Swirling the wrong element = zero buff.
❌ Leveling Normal Attacks. Kazuha's plunge damage (from E) scales with his Skill talent, not NA. NA levels are completely wasted.
❌ Using the wrong weapon. Sacrificial Sword seems tempting for double E, but the EM loss compared to Iron Sting or Xiphos is not worth it. Kazuha already has low cooldowns.
